Perched among the trees, the cabin overlooks the slow-moving river, where mornings begin with birdsong and evenings wind down under a canopy of stars. Step outside your door to launch a kayak, cast a line, or simply sit with the rhythm of the water. Fishing poles and kayaks are provided, making it easy to immerse yourself in the natural beauty that surrounds you. This is a stay that invites you to unplug without sacrificing comfort. Inside, you’ll find a thoughtfully curated space with warm wood tones, a vintage guitar for slow afternoons, and a stereo system equipped with both CDs and Bluetooth for your favorite music. It’s a place to read, play, reflect, and breathe. One of the most memorable features is the open-air bathing experience. The outdoor bathroom, shower, and soaking tub are intentionally designed to bring you closer to the elements—bathe beneath the sky, surrounded by trees, with the sounds of the river nearby. It’s private, serene, and unlike anything you’ll find in a traditional rental. This treehouse is ideal for guests looking to disconnect from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with something simpler. If you’re seeking luxury in the form of stillness, nature, and a slower pace, you’ll feel right at home here. Please note: This is a rustic, nature-immersed experience. While thoughtfully equipped, it is not a conventional indoor-heavy accommodation. Guests should be comfortable with outdoor elements as part of the stay. Sopchoppy Treehouse House Rules and Safety Guide   Version date:  8/28/26 1\.       Occupancy and visitors. Only registered overnight guests may stay at the Property. Maximum overnight occupancy is four (4).   2\.      Quiet hours. Quiet hours are 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Keep voices, music, vehicles, and outdoor activity at a level that does not disturb neighbors or the surrounding community. 3\.      Treehouse and elevated areas. Do not climb on railings, decks, roofs, trees, exterior structures, or restricted areas. Do not move furniture to railings or deck edges. Children and persons needing assistance must be directly supervised at all times on elevated areas, stairs, ladders, docks, trails, and water-access areas. 4\.      Natural setting. The Property is in a wooded and rural setting. Wear appropriate footwear, use lights after dark, remain on designated paths, and watch for roots, uneven surfaces, mud, insects, reptiles, wildlife, branches, and changing weather. Do not feed, approach, harass, or attempt to handle wildlife. 5\.       Fire and outdoor cooking. No candles, indoor flames, fireworks, or unauthorized fires. Use grills or fire pits only in designated locations and only if Host permits use and no burn ban, weather condition, or posted restriction prohibits it. Never leave a fire, grill, or flame unattended. 6\.      Smoking and vaping. Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside the property. A reasonable documented smoke-remediation fee may apply for violations. 7\.       Water and recreation. Use of watercraft, docks, shoreline, and recreational equipment is optional and at Guest's risk. Wear a properly fitted U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket while using watercraft. No water activity after dark, during lightning or severe weather, or while impaired.  8\.      Pets. APPROVED PETS ONLY WITH PRIOR WRITTEN APPROVAL. Approved pets must be controlled, cleaned up after, and kept from causing noise, damage, or a nuisance. 9\.      Parking and vehicles. Park only in designated areas, before the posts in the driveway.  Do not block the shared driveway or neighboring property. 10\.   Safety devices and access. Do not disable or tamper with smoke alarms, carbon-monoxide alarms, locks, Wi-Fi equipment, or utility systems. Keep access doors, gates, and windows secure as instructed. 11\.    Septic/plumbing and utilities. Flush only toilet paper. Do not flush wipes, feminine products, paper towels, grease, food, or other items. Immediately report leaks, loss of power, a gas smell, a smoke/CO alarm activation, sewage backup, or other utility/safety concerns. 12\.   Checkout. Follow checkout instructions. Place trash in designated receptacles, wash dishes, turn off lights and air conditioning, close and lock windows and doors, return furniture/equipment to original locations, and promptly report any damage or maintenance issues. 13\.   Emergency contacts.
